Andy turned 6 months old on July 9! It is hard to believe that 6 months has gone by already! We celebrated his birthday by introducing carrots. My vote was peas, but Grant and Andy voted for carrots. The rationale was that he couldn't have peas on his half-birthday! We then went to lunch at Gino's on State Street for $4.50 lasagna. (It was a special they were having due to their 45th anniversary of being open.) We then walked to the UW Memorial Union Terrace on Lake Mendota and enjoyed the view of the sailboats. Andy's 6 month check-up is at the end of this month, so we will update you with his stats at that time. Grandpa Roy returned from his trip to NY and we had him over for dinner to celebrate Father's Day.

Summer Update

Summer is a beautiful thing! Since Grant and I are employed only during the school year, we have been enjoying our summer thus far. Grant just finished a 3 credit class last week. While Grant was at class Andy and I went for walks, visited Ella and Brady, and played.

Andy and I went to Woodstock earlier this month to visit Grandpa John, Grandma Mary, Aunt Sue, and Cousin Jacob. We cannot wait to see Aunt Amy, Uncle Nick, & Cousin Jack and hear all about their trip to New Zealand...we just need to figure out a time to visit them. We also miss Grandpa Roy, who is in New York helping a friend move.

Video of Andy Rolling Over

Andy rolled over for the first time from his back to his front (which his pediatrician says is harder to do then rolling from front to back) last Friday (June 20th). We were lucky enough to catch his fourth roll of the day on video. Enjoy!
